Oil & Gas Offshore Technology Conference
Camino is a regular participant of the OTC event, this August’s conference was no exception. Camino engaged in many meaningful discussions and encounters where ideas were shared business partnerships were developed, to meet global energy demands. Camino was presented with the honour of being invited by Norwep to present at the Roundtable Nordic session. Camino had the opportunity to present at the Rice University OTC startup forum.
The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is the largest event in the world for the oil and gas industry featuring more than 2,300 exhibitors, and attendees representing 100 countries. The OTC is where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters. Offshore energy industry experts and leaders gathered from across the world for this convention.
The sessions focused on subjects such as how deepwater projects can compete with shale developments, automation’s role in increasing on-site safety, and new ways to utilize AUV technology. Speakers, including representatives from key U.S. agencies, international energy ministries and company executives, addressed a wide variety of pressing issues, including Brazil’s reformed energy regulation system and progress on the Moho Nord deepwater field.
